– Plexxikon, Inc., a privately held structure-based drug discovery company, and SCYNEXIS Chemistry & Automation, Inc. today announced that they have signed an agreement in which Plexxikon will access SCYNEXIS' proprietary MEDCHEM-FACTORY™ technology as part of a rapid ramp-up of Plexxikon's chemistry programs.
The agreement provides Plexxikon with dedicated chemistry processes utilizing innovative technology from a world-class team of chemists experienced in automation and high-throughput discovery chemistry. As Plexxikon continues to build in-house capabilities, SCYNEXIS will help establish Plexxikon's ability to discover and develop novel chemical scaffolds and drug leads.
